Our Story
Quartered Steels began in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2015, founded by working hair stylists frustrated by the limitations of ordinary shears. From the energy of the salon floor, they set out to build tools worthy of the craft.
At the helm is Dan Wild, a former construction engineer who traded blueprints for barber chairs. In his own shop he felt the weight of tools that dulled too quickly and strained the hand through long days — and decided to build something better.
